ST. ROFFESS AND SOSIMAS

St. Roffess and St. Sosimas are early Christian martyrs who suffered for their faith during the Roman persecutions. Little is known about their lives, but their martyrdom is commemorated by the Church as an example of devotion and sacrifice for the Christian faith.

St. Roffess and St. Sosimas are believed to have been Christian martyrs during the time of Roman Emperor Diocletian, who led one of the most intense persecutions of Christians in the early 4th century.

Although little is known about their personal lives, their names are remembered in the liturgical calendar for their bravery and unwavering faith in Christ.
