Saint Caillín, also known as Caillin or Caellainn, was a 6th-century Irish monastic founder and bishop, renowned for his spiritual leadership and miracles. He is especially venerated in Fenagh, County Leitrim, where he established a prominent monastery that became a center of learning and devotion.

Caillín was born in Conmaicne Dun Mor (modern north County Galway) to Dediva, daughter of Tren, a chief poet of Ireland. He was one of several siblings who became saints, including Saint Senan and Saint Diarmaid. Under the guidance of Saint Fintan, Caillín pursued religious studies, eventually traveling to Rome for further education. Upon his return to Ireland, he founded a monastic settlement at Fenagh, County Leitrim, where he became the patron saint.

The monastery at Fenagh gained renown for its scholarly activities, producing the "Book of Fenagh," a 16th-century manuscript that preserved the saint's legacy. According to tradition, an angel guided Caillín to the site of the monastery, and he performed miracles, such as converting a king's warriors and turning druids into stone.

Saint Caillín's feast day is celebrated on November 13. In Ballyconneely, County Galway, a holy well associated with the saint has been a site of pilgrimage, where devotees perform rituals and prayers, particularly on May Day and August 15.
